| Abstract: |
| Researches on the composition and structure of mercaptans in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) were carried out by combining chemical separation with GC/DFPD and GC-MS method. The simple operation of separation procedure and the qualitative and quantitative analytical methods for mercaptans in LPG were set up. The results demonstrate that the main thiols in LPG are methanethiol and ethanethiol, which is accordant with the specific composition of LPG. |
